My thoughts on the 09/10 WildCats:

Swagger (attitude) - coach Cal has been talking this word up for awhile and with yesterday's game, I am a believer. We never over-reacted to their play, hussle or shooting, we maintained the game plan and held our own until the 2nd half run. I believe that Cal was happy to see our big 3 getting into foul trouble early on just to see how we'd react. Obviously the 2ndaries held their own against a very good team and we saw many folks step up to the challenge, especially Bledsoe, man he worked his tail off for that win and kept us in it, didn't he? Buisness as usual, have fun, play with amnesia and KNOW that if you stick to the gameplan, the plan will work. AMAZING!!!!

Liggins/Razor: Cal is molding everyone into a machine for March/April. These 2 gentlemen are definitely the early highlights. I can't wait until we see other players step into their roles and see how good we are come tournament time. The recent "In his own words" show on Fox Sports gives really good insight into Cal's history but most importantly, his philosophy on leading players into their individual roles on the team then each individual into the whole machine . i.e. "Big Picture"

Player: "Coach I've never worked this hard in my life"

Cal: "We're only half way there!!!"

:)

Wall/Cousins: I can't say much that hasn't already been said, these 2 freshman came ready to play and they are. Though they make mistakes as all kids do, they always make up for them in spectacular ways. I can really get used to 1 and done's if they bring games and personalities like these 2 gentlemen. The Wall phenomenon is unbelievable, almost super-human. Talk about viral huh? He's everywhere these day, as is Kentucky Basketball, what a treat!!!! Cuz: is the most colorful and intense player we're had since Jamaal Magloire but X52. I absolutely loved his "Man on the street" interviews and can see him actually media star come his NBA days.

Patrick: he single-handedly secured himself and this team as one of my all-time favorite Kentucky teams ever just by coming back for a 3rd season. The fact that they are now exceeding all expectations and talking an undefeated run makes this year feel almost like a dream compared to the horrors we've all had to go through the past 4 years.

God Bless PPat, Coach Cal and team.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of your families TCP'ers.

GO CATS!!!!
